Community invited to the Police Department's 30th National Night Out

Free, with a backpack and school-supply giveaway while supplies last.

The Edinburg Police Department encourages the community to attend its 30th annual National Night Out celebration, set for Tuesday 4 August 2026 at 6 p.m. at the Promenade Park Amphitheater.

Families can expect an evening of food, safety demonstrations and live entertainment, including performances by Leo Garcia & the Rattlers and The Hot Rodz.

The event features a carnival, a car show, children's games, dinosaur rides, a petting zoo and local food vendors. Residents are encouraged to arrive early: free school backpacks are available while supplies last.
