A demonstration. This is not the district's website. It is a working proposal built for Rio Grande City Grulla ISD, using the district's real campuses, trustees and seal. Every enrollment figure, bus, vote and dollar amount is invented, and each page says so. A proposal for the district

One platform the district owns, instead of nine it rents

9,482 students, 17 campuses, 91 buses and one question a parent asks every single morning. This is what that looks like when the website, the board record and the bus map are the same system — built in both languages, and built to be read by anybody.

See where the buses are right now What a parent sees

  • 11 buses on the road at this moment
  • Every board vote, by name, in both languages
  • A website nobody has to audit later — WCAG 2.2 AA checked on every page, every build

Why this is one system and not nine

The website is rented from one company, the bus routing from another, the board packet from a third, the notification texts from a fourth. None of them share a record, so the district pays four times to store the same child's name four times — and still cannot tell a parent where the bus is.
