A demonstration. This is not the district's website. It is a working proposal built for Rio Grande City Grulla ISD, using the district's real campuses, trustees and seal. Every enrollment figure, bus, vote and dollar amount is invented, and each page says so. About this proposal Developed by Pragmatic Business Solutions, LLC (opens in a new tab), a Rio Grande City, TX custom software company.

From the campus office

Written as words, in both languages, on the campus's own page. Not a photograph of a flyer, and not a post that exists only on a social network a parent has to have an account for.

  • Report card conferences

Thursday 17 September, 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. No appointment needed. Interpreters are in the building.

  • Early dismissal

Friday 25 September. Buses run two hours early; the same buses, the same stops.

  • Breakfast is free for every student

Served from the first bell. No form, no application, no questions asked.

These three notices are demonstration text. Everything above them — the name, the level, the address, the telephone number — is the campus's own.

Buses serving this campus right now

The question this campus office is asked more than any other, answered on the campus page rather than on a different website.

Positions are demonstration data. The routes, the stops and the distances are real.

One record, eighteen campuses

Today every campus in this district is a separate website on its own subdomain — eighteen of them, each with its own pages, its own staff list and its own copy of the calendar. A campus homepage weighs between 4.3 and 9.4 megabytes. This one is a fraction of that, and its bell schedule, its address and its buses come from the same records the district already keeps: entered once, not once per campus and once per vendor.
