Mayor and City Commission

Five elected members. They adopt the budget, pass ordinances, set water rates and award contracts. Every one of those decisions appears first on a posted agenda.

The staff who carry it out

  • Gilberto Millán Jr., CPM
    City Manager

    [email protected]
    (956) 488-8728

Runs the day-to-day operations of the city and carries out what the commission decides.

  • Lynette Montemayor
    City Secretary

    [email protected]
    (956) 487-0672

Posts every agenda, keeps the minutes and the ordinances, runs elections, and answers public information requests.

How they voted

Every vote each member cast, by name. This is the question a photograph of a piece of paper cannot answer.
