Speak at a City Commission meeting
Public comment is open at every regular meeting. Here is how to be heard.
How to do it
- Read the agenda first. It is posted at least 72 hours before the meeting.
- Sign up with the City Secretary before the meeting starts. There is a form at the door.
- You normally get three minutes. Say your name and the street you live on.
- If you need an interpreter or an accommodation, ask at least two business days ahead — the city arranges it at no cost to you.
This is handled by City Secretary.
If any of that does not work for you
Call (956) 487-0672 and say what you need. If you need a document in large print, plain text or read aloud, or you need an interpreter, ask — it costs you nothing and you do not have to explain why.
