Work with us

One role open, and it is the most important one in the company.

Community curator — part time, the Valley

This is the job the whole product depends on. You would spend your week watching the Facebook groups, the parish bulletins, the radio announcements and the flyers in panadería windows, and pulling those events into Qué Hay.

It is not a data entry job. You would decide what belongs in the calendar, build the relationships with the twenty promoters and fifteen parishes and thirty RV parks whose events we most want, and be the person who notices when something is wrong before a reader does.

You need to be from the Valley and to write Spanish natively — Valley Spanish, not textbook Spanish. Knowing the difference between a jamaica and a kermés without looking it up is a hard requirement.

Part time to start, growing. Write to [email protected] and tell us which events you would add first.

Native-speaker language review — contract

Every Spanish string in the product is reviewed by a native Valley speaker before release, and that review blocks the release.

You would not be checking someone else's Spanish. You would be the only human author of Spanish in the product — rewriting what needs rewriting, and getting the byline for it. Two sessions a month to start.
