It is a trade show rather than a festival: over a hundred exhibitor booths, live music and door prizes, and a lot of information gathered in one room. That is a genuinely efficient way to plan a year of trips, and it is comfortable, indoors, and out of the sun.
It is also one of the clearest illustrations of the Valley's two audiences existing side by side. A touring norteño act may be playing a few blocks away the same evening, and neither crowd will be aware of the other.
