A patient who cannot read the billing page calls the business office. A patient who cannot read the discharge instructions calls the nurse, or does not call anyone and comes back. A patient who cannot read the consent form signs it anyway. Those three pages are where an English-only written layer costs the most, and they are the three this concept translates first.
Un paciente que no puede leer la página de facturación llama a la oficina de cobros. Un paciente que no puede leer las instrucciones del alta llama a la enfermera, o no llama a nadie y regresa. Un paciente que no puede leer el formulario de consentimiento lo firma de todos modos. Esas tres páginas son donde una capa escrita solo en inglés cuesta más, y son las tres que este concepto traduce primero.
